Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge: Everything you need to know!

The Korean based smartphone giant Samsung has finally unveiled its warriors in the battlefield against their rival Apple, who recently launched iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+. After these launches, everyone was keenly waiting for Samsung’s next step, which obviously had to be the Galaxy S6. There had been a lot of rumors floating around the features and design of this phone, but none were specifically coming from any officials.

Breaking all rumors, Samsung introduced the galaxy twins in the recent Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona. In a press release they announced about the upcoming galaxy models namely Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

According to Samsung the handsets were crafted focusing previous customer feedbacks which includes unprofessional design. And after looking at these hot phones, you have to admit that these two are the most beautiful handsets ever in the galaxy series. Meanwhile many ‘galaxy-fans’ are tweeting up their grief against Samsung as they popped out the SD card slot from these upcoming twins, which was considered to be one of the most exciting features of the galaxy phones.

Moreover another big whooping change was made to these upcoming cell phones, which also received negative feedback in the social media. Previously one could remove batteries from their galaxy phones, but not anymore. Samsung claimed that people won’t need to replace batteries as they’re made to long last.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Models

Let’s now have a look at the key specifications of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge:

1. Both the phones have 5.1 inches screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels and 577 ppi.

2. The Super AMOLED capacitive screens have Corning Gorilla Glass 4 to protect them from scratches.

3. Galaxy S6 Edge has a curved screen to enhance the overall user experience.

4. Pretty obviously the phones run in Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

5. Both of them got 16 megapixels rear camera with 2160p video recording at 30 frames per second. The 5 MP front camera can shoot videos at 1080p at 30 frames per second.

6. The phones come with three storage variants – 32, 64 and 128 Gigabytes. As mentioned earlier, none of the handsets have SD slot.

7. Unlike their other ancestors these phones do not use Qualcomm processors. Instead, the phones are powered by its own 64 bit Exynos octa-core processor. To be more precise, it’s got two quad-core processors - 1.5 GHz & 2.1 GHz.

8. The Galaxy S6 is backed up by a non-removable battery of 2550 mAh. Whereas its twin has been given a 2600 mAh battery which is also sealed up. Samsung has claimed that the phones take 50% less time to charge up than an iPhone. 10 minutes of charging will give you 4 hours of service.

Exciting Features:

1. Blazing fast camera launch. Just double tap the home screen and the camera will be loaded within a few milliseconds.

2. Besides being sexy, the curvy part of the screen is pretty handy too. You can choose a few favorite contacts, assign certain colors to them and when someone amongst them calls or sends a message, the curve will glow accordingly.

3. For secure payment transactions you have Fingerprint sensor certified by PayPal and Samsung Pay certified by MasterCard and Visa.

4. Forget bathing with your cell phone. Unlike its previous siblings, these handsets are no longer waterproof. Yup! No longer dancing in the rain.

Expected Release Date and Price:

The phones are expected to hit the ground on 10th April. Booking has already started in some countries. The price isn’t yet officially declared but you can expect it to be close to Galaxy S5 or Galaxy Note Edge (near about 700 EUR).

Last Words:

In the battle against companies like Apple, HTC and Xiaomi, these are going to be the weapons for Samsung to survive. Meanwhile, the CEO of Cyanogenmod, an android software comany, has said that Samsung will be slaughtered within 5 years! Well, we do not know anything yet. Samsung’s future pretty much depends on how these phones hit the market and to know that we’ve gotta wait till this April.

Are you happy with the features of Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6? Are you going to buy it or just let it pass? Comment below, we are all waiting to hear from you!!

Powered by Blogger Attribution — How to Remove it From Your Blog?

Is that 3 word clutter making your blood boil? Then why u no remove it?  Last week I wrote a tutorial on removing the navigation bar in blogger blogs, which too, is nothing but a mess to your blog. In this post I'm gonna help you removing the 'Powered by Blogger' attribution from the footer section of your blog. In default templates and some of the custom templates, the attribution stay locked at a fixed position which is really infuriating. You can't move it, you can't delete and you go mad about that crap. Chillax, cool up your brain, and read this post. It's all up here. Now there a question comes that — Is it legal to remove the attribution from a blog? Because, it's kind of right of Blogger to place that stuff. Isn't it? Here's a way to deal with it. If you're using a custom template, then there must be a space in the footer to display the template maker's credits, right? In that space, beside the credits, you can place a link
